FAQ & help
Everything a parent usually wants to know before starting, plus short how-to guides for the things people ask most.
Safety & privacy
Is it safe for my child?
Yes — safety is built into the design. Your child never creates an account; they study from a private link secured by a PIN that you set. There are no ads, no chat, and no social feed, and every lesson is drawn only from their own textbooks — never open internet content. Read how we keep it safe →
Who controls the account?
You do. A parent or guardian creates and owns the account and gives consent on the child’s behalf, in line with India’s DPDP Act. You can view progress and delete the account and its data at any time. See our Privacy Policy.
Getting started
Do I need to install an app?
No. It runs in any web browser on a phone, tablet, or computer. On a phone you can optionally add it to the home screen so it opens like an app — but there's nothing to download from a store.
How do I get started?
Create your parent account with your email, add your child (board, class, school), and we line up the right textbooks and chapters automatically. See how it works, or just get started.
How do I set up my child's study link?
- From your dashboard, open your child’s card and go to the Study section.
- Set a 4–6 digit PIN. This creates their private study link automatically.
- That link + PIN is all your child needs — they never make an account of their own.
My child forgot the PIN or is locked out — what do I do?
- For safety, the study link locks after several wrong PIN tries — there’s no auto-unlock.
- Go to your child’s Study screen and set a new PIN; this instantly unlocks the link.
- Share the new PIN with your child and they’re back in.
Coverage & books
Which classes and boards do you cover?
We’re starting with Classes 5–10. The exact books we’ve loaded — and which are coming next — are listed on the home page. We add books regularly.
My child's book isn't listed — how do I add it?
When you set up your child, there’s a “Book not found? Request it” option. The one-time fee (₹500–₹1,500, based on the book) comes back to you as account credit you can use towards subscriptions.
- While choosing subjects for your child, tap “Book not found? Request it”.
- Add a photo of the cover and/or a link to the book, and pay the one-time fee.
- We load the book for you — you can track requests on your Book requests page.
Progress & reports
How do I read the progress report?
- Open your child’s card and go to Progress.
- You’ll see overall completion, per-subject bars, average scores, and what’s overdue or due today.
- Each completed assessment can be reviewed question-by-question to see where the gaps are.
Pricing & billing
Is it really free to start?
Yes — every family starts on a genuinely generous free plan. No credit card, no time limit: set up a study plan and your child can begin right away. It's roomy enough to comfortably work through a full term in a couple of subjects. You only ever choose a paid plan if you decide to keep going beyond it.
What happens when the free plan is used up?
Nothing you've already done disappears — work that's ready stays readable. To keep generating new lessons and assessments, you pick one of the simple plans below. We show a clear prompt when you get there, so there are never any surprise charges.
How much does it cost if I continue?
Three simple options: ₹299 per subject per month (pay as you go), ₹999 per month for every subject (the flexible all-subjects plan, cheaper than paying per subject once your child studies four or more), or an all-subject annual pack at ₹9,999 a year — the best value, working out to two months free versus paying monthly.
What counts as one “subject”?
One textbook subject — for example Maths, Science, or English. You add only the subjects your child is taking.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Both monthly plans — pay-as-you-go and the all-subjects plan — renew monthly and you can cancel whenever you like, with no lock-in. The annual pack covers a full year.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
- Go to Billing from your dashboard to see active plans, account credit, and payment receipts.
- To change or cancel pay-as-you-go, open the child’s Subscription screen — cancel takes effect at the end of the paid cycle.
- The annual pack runs for the full year; you’ll get a reminder before it expires.
How it compares
How is this different from YouTube or a generic app?
Everything your child studies comes from their actual textbook chapters — not generic videos that only half-match the syllabus. The work is paced across the weeks to finish the exam portion on time, and assessments give instant feedback, so it's a structured daily routine rather than a pile of content to sift through.
Can it replace tuition?
For self-study and revision, many families use it in place of or alongside tuition — a guided daily lesson, practice, and instant assessment on the exact portion, with progress you can see. It doesn't replace a teacher for doubt-solving, but it keeps the daily habit going between classes.
