Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 29 August 2026

Swadhyai is a digital subscription service. This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work. It should be read together with our Terms of Service.

Free plan

Every account starts on a free plan at no cost, and stays free until it reaches a usage allowance we set. The free plan does not automatically charge you — you are billed only if you choose a paid plan to continue. If you don’t, access to new AI-generated content simply pauses until you do.

Cancelling a subscription

  • Pay-as-you-go (monthly): you can cancel anytime from the Subscription screen in your dashboard. Cancellation stops future charges; your access continues until the end of the month you have already paid for.
  • Annual pack: the annual pack is a one-time payment for 12 months and does not auto-renew. You keep access for the full period.

Refunds

Because Swadhyai delivers digital content immediately, subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has begun and content has been made available. We may, at our discretion, consider a refund in cases such as:

  • a duplicate or clearly erroneous charge; or
  • a verified technical failure that prevented access for a substantial part of the paid period and that we were unable to resolve.

To request a refund, email us within 7 days of the charge with your registered email and the payment details. Approved refunds are made to the original payment method, typically within 5–7 business days (bank timelines may vary).

Book-request fees & account credit

A fee paid to request a new book is added to your account as credit that can be used towards subscription fees. Account credit is non-refundable to a payment method but does not expire while your account is active.
